Welcome to the Louis Riel Parent Council Website.
We hope you will find all the information you need to know about what we do and what is happening throughout the year.
The council is set up in two parts:
School Council – A means for parents and community members to work together with administration, staff and students to promote well-being and overall effectiveness of the school community. The main role is advisory and information exchange.
Parent Society – A means for parents and community members to provide additional financial resources and support the school. Main role is fundraising. The purpose of the Louis Riel School Society is to plan and implement fund-raising activities on behalf of the Louis Riel School Council to enhance educational resources for students. The society was incorporated under the Alberta Societies Act, July 3 1990.
